On Tuesday morning, our leadership team hosted a holiday breakfast for all faculty and staff. They both provided and served items to all, giving back to all those who play a role in helping our students succeed and positively impact their lives.
It was also a great opportunity for staff to get together and mingle before the winter recess. A huge thank you once again to our incredible faculty and staff!

A Taconic Hills Class of 2018 graduate, Mrs. Guzzi holds certifications in Literacy, Early Childhood Education, and Childhood Education. We are so grateful to have her as part of the Titan Family!

Mrs. Bauhoff's fashion design students recently created ugly sweaters! They were put on display in the library yesterday, and today students and staff voted on the best, or in this case, the worst creation!
The winning sweater was #7, created by Alexis Weed and Patricia Brizzie! #6, created by Leah Whalen and Sydney Heath, came in a close second!
The students really had fun with this project, and you can see each student's creativity shine in every piece.
Classes will resume on Monday, January 5, 2026.

The Grinch returned to Taconic Hills today for Grinchmas / Whoville Day! 🎄This year, he was caught at Superintendent Brunger's meeting table, firing off emails from her laptop! He clearly means business.... or mischief!😏
The Elementary P.E. department will be hosting their annual Glow Run on Friday, December 19.
Every student Prek-6th grade will need their sneakers to participate. Students are allowed to bring glow sticks and Holiday necklaces, hats, or headbands that twinkle and light up.
Students will enjoy a time to run, dance and have fun with their classmates.
Please join us for an evening of cosmic bowling while also supporting the Taconic Hills Class of 2026!

- Before & After School Program will run until 4:00 PM. Check the Apptegy Rooms message for details.
- Athletics practices will end at 4:00 PM. Tonight’s wrestling and bowling matches will be rescheduled.
- The Aquatic & Fitness Center will be closed tonight.
- Late buses will run only at 4:00 PM. There will be no 5:15 PM buses.

Thank you for working with us to ensure you recieve all district notifications, especially throughout the winter months.
Families of impacted students will receive a separate email notification with specific information about the vaccinations that are due. State regulations require that we notify families and obtain updated records within 14 days of the first day of school. After this period, any student without current immunization documentation must be excluded from school until records are updated.
To ensure timely communication, especially given recent mail delays, we will also be calling families and sending letters home with students.
