This is a fun opportunity to improve physical condition, increase self-confidence and try new skills through the sport of swim racing. Taconic Hills Swim Club is organized to introduce, teach and promote swim racing in the Taconic Hills community. Swim Club also concludes with a swim meet.
Swim Club is NOT Swimming Lessons. Tryouts will be held on Tuesday, March 14 from 6PM-730PM. Participants must be able to swim at least 50 yards (2 lengths) unassisted.
Open to swimmers ages 10-18.
Program is capped at 20 swimmers.
Non-members of the Taconic Hills School District are welcome!

These drop in workshops are open to all high school students, regardless of where you plan to attend college.

Taconic Hills CSD held a lockdown drill this morning (12/6).
Students & staff did a wonderful job.
Thank you to local law enforcement for their assistance with the drill.
This morning at approximately 8:50am, the Taconic Hills facility experienced an electrical phase loss from the utility company.
In response to this, the Buildings & Grounds team cut power to the building to prevent damage to the building’s electrical equipment.
At no time were any students or staff in danger.
The fire department and NYSEG were requested to respond to the facility as a precautionary measure. Students were dismissed according to their emergency dismissal plan as a precaution as well.
The District is currently operating on generator power, and is working with an electrical contractor to assess damage & make necessary repairs.
