A Lockdown Drill was held this afternoon at Taconic Hills. The drill was designed to simulate an emergency response and help students, teachers and staff understand appropriate steps to take during an emergency. We are required by law to conduct 4 lockdown drills every school year.
Thank you to our emergency responders for their assistance with this drill. The school has resumed normal operations.
The Taconic Hills Support Staff Association is hosting a Bowling Event on Saturday, October 14 at 2PM to raise money for the Support Staff Scholarship Fund.
There will also be a 50-50 raffle and door prizes!

Join the District's Mental Health & Wellness Task Force!
The District Mental Health & Wellness Task Force is a whole school task force whose goal is to present recommendations to the THCSD of needed policies and updates to mental health awareness, student wellness, and resources.
We are looking for families, students, teachers, mental health professionals, and community members who are interested in mental health/wellness and want to join.
The First Meeting will be Wednesday, October 11 at 6PM in the Board of Education Room.

SUNY Geneseo will be visiting the District on Tuesday 9/26 from 11AM-1PM.
Both colleges will be set up in front of the Jr/Sr High Cafeteria during lunch periods.
