Dear Taconic Hills Families,

As we approach the colder months, we want to ensure that our school community is well prepared for any potential delays, early dismissals, or closings due to inclement weather. Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with our protocols and other important information regarding delays, early dismissals, and closings.

In the event of a delay, early dismissal, or school closing, we aim to provide you with the most up-to-date information as early as possible. Here's how we will communicate these decisions once they are final:

  • A phone call, text message, and email will be sent to all parents, guardians, and emergency contacts on file. Please ensure your contact information is current with your student's main office.

  • Posts will be made to our Facebook and Instagram pages.

  • A prominent pop-up alert will be displayed on our district website.

  • Local radio & television news stations
