Taconic Hills Community,
In wake of yesterday’s tragedy, the District is holding a community gathering in the High School Gym today from 3PM-4PM. This is not a memorial; it is a safe space for all to communicate their needs. Students, families, and community members are welcome to attend for support, counseling, and comfort during this time. There will be counseling staff and other resources available for those in need.
We ask that everyone enters through the two PAC doors, located at the middle of the school. There will be staff indicating where to enter. Parking will be available in both the staff and student parking lots.
There will also be buses to transport students home at 4PM and 4:30PM for those who would like to attend the gathering. Students should sign up with any teacher to stay.
All other after school activities will remain as scheduled.
