Taconic Hills / Hawthorne Valley Combined Soccer Programs

TH was already expected to be strong this year with Kolby Clegg and Teagan Campion-Pratt leading the charge, but with the addition of Guillermo Menendez, Chris Davis and Philip Davis from the Hawthorne Valley program, Taconic Hills is at the top of the Patroon Conference.

On a night Taconic Hills was looking to avenge their only loss, Greenville was able to sneak out a win in OT. Greenville was quick to the ball in the first half which was paying off with positive time of possession. Late in the 1st half, Greenville's Miles Weiss shot bounced around on the plane of the goal and was secured by the goalie but was ruled over the face of the goal. halftime 1-0. Taconic Hills came out the second half with better focus, they started to control the ball which led to an equalizer coming from Bryce Atwood. Then Kolby Clegg found the net from a Nole Atwood pass. But playing without their defensive leaders, Taconic Hills struggled to maintain forward pressure. On a set play, Greenville's Isaiah Edmonds shot found the far side of the net just over a stretched out Teagan Campion-Pratt(who was able to rack up several difficult saves despite filling in at net). Regulation ended Knotted at 2. In overtime Taconic Hills committed a foul in the box. James Mitchell scored on the PK. Greenville won a clean hard played game by both sides.

The Girls also have a combined program and are seeing continuous improvement as the season progresses.
