Reindeer Run and Christmas Tree Trot

Reindeer Run

The Reindeer Run is a challenge run for students in grades 3, 4, 5 & 6. The run will be done during PE class December 12,13,16 & 17. Completion of this continuous run results in getting your name on the “Reindeer List” for all to see!! Look for the Reindeer Run showcase outside the elementary cafeteria for results!  Run times are:   Grade 3 – 12 minutes, Grade 4 - 15 minutes, Grades 5&6 – 18 minutes.

**All students who participate in the Reindeer Run will be rewarded with a fun Reindeer Glow Run on December 18th!! The entire grade level will come to PE during their specials time. The gym will be dark except for the glow of Christmas lights, bright smiles, blinking necklaces and glow sticks. There will be a DJ playing awesome music for the kids to run to. Parents may send their child in with fun headbands, lighted necklaces, Rudolf noses, glow stick necklaces/bracelets. Please make sure they have their sneakers that day!!

Christmas Tree Trot

The Christmas Tree Trot is a challenge run for grades

 K, 1&2 that will take place during PE classes from December 12-17.  The runners will receive a lap marker for each lap they complete during a 5-minute time period. The total number of laps run by each grade will be added up and with each 100 laps completed, the grade will receive an ornament to be put on the Christmas tree. K = Red ornaments, Grade 1 = Silver and grade 2 = Blue. To earn the STAR to top the tree grades k-2 must complete 1000 laps! The tree will be in the showcase by the elementary cafeteria.
