Pool Party Information

Pool parties are held on Saturdays from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Parties may not be booked for any other day of the week. The cost for a pool party includes lifeguard coverage. See below for detailed cost information. In the event of a cancellation, you will be notified by one of the Aquatic Center staff prior to your pool party. Should you need to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, timely notification is requested. We will make every effort to accommodate your rescheduling needs. To cancel the day of the party, please call the Aquatic Center office at 325-2895 option 3 and advise the lifeguards on duty. A cancellation fee may apply. Please note that all Pool Rules apply during a Pool Party. Pool parties must be booked at least two weeks in advance.

Pool Party Fee Schedule

  • Pool Party 1 (1 hour in Pool/1 hour in a Cafeteria) - $ 75.00

  • Pool Party 2 (2 hours in Pool/1 hour in a Cafeteria) - $ 125.00

Pool Capacity

Total pool capacity: 25 swimmers (the shallow end is 15, so at least 10 would need to pass the deep end swim test to be allowed in the lap lanes and by the diving board)

Shallow end capacity: 15 (when using the entire shallow end)

Parties for Children 6 & Under

Maximum children: 12 

There must be a minimum of 1 adult for each 2 children in the water. That would put a total of 18 people in the shallow end. Since most of these children will be non-swimmers, they will probably be in the first 10 to 15 feet of the pool and when you put more in that area it could get dangerous.

To inquire about the availability of the pool or for further information, please contact the Buildings & Grounds Secretary, at (518) 325-2880. Due to limited availability, it is recommended that you schedule the date of your pool party as early as possible.

To reserve the pool, please complete the Pool Rental Request Form and complete the Building Use form.
