Val & Sal 2024

Lisa Cardillo, Principal and Cathleen Goodwin, Assistant Principal of the Taconic Hills Senior High School are proud to announce the Valedictorian and Salutatorian for the Taconic Hills graduating class of 2024.

Isabella Gazzola, the daughter of Nadine and Seth Gazzola of Hudson, has been named Taconic Hills Class of 2024 Valedictorian. Isabella demonstrates impressive leadership and is active in the school community. She is the treasurer of the National Honor Society, and President of the Mock Trial team. Isabella has been spending her senior year in the Questar III New Visions Visual & Performing Arts Program in Troy, NY, where she gets to spend the school day working on projects and honing her artistic skills. She has been interested in the arts from a young age, and has been actively involved in the Drama Club since Middle School, as well as having been a member in Select, All County, and All State choirs. Outside of music, she spends her time making jewelry and crocheting. Isabella plans to study music composition, potentially at the Berklee School of Music or Nazareth University. Her ultimate goal is to write music for video games. 

Ryan Sigler, the son of Norman and Kathleen Sigler of Ghent, has been named Taconic Hills Class of 2024 Salutatorian. Ryan participated in soccer, basketball, and track throughout his high school career. Due to Ryan’s dedication to athletics, he was named the captain of his soccer team this year. He is a member of the National Honor Society, and received the prestigious Clarkson Achievement Award during his junior year. He spent his past three summers working in the District as an IT assistant. He is interested in adventure sports such as Formula 1 Racing and Go-Karts. Driven by his love for mechanics and aerospace, Ryan aspires to pursue a degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering. He plans to attend one of the highly regarded institutions such as Cornell, RPI, or Binghamton, where he can further hone his skills and contribute meaningfully to the field of engineering.
