On February 24th, a group of 19 motivated students from Taconic Hills participated in the FFA districts, showcasing their talents in diverse public speaking contests.
With diligent preparation, they delivered compelling speeches before a panel of judges. Notably, the top 8 performers in each contest earned the opportunity to advance to the substate level. Taconic Hills FFA proudly boasts that 7 individuals (Kaiden Klein, Gabby Coons, Ava Hodgins, Carly Busch, Zach Somers, Lilah Hutson, and Gracie Sheak) are set to represent their chapter against counterparts from the eastern half of New York State.
Their advancement is a testament to their dedication and skill, and these students are now eagerly planning and plotting for the upcoming substate competition.
