Dear Taconic Hills Families:
It’s hard to believe that we are in the 3rd quarter of the school year. Teachers continue to update grades on SchoolTool. Teachers have been asked to reach out to parents/guardians if their student has failing grades. We encourage all parents/guardians to review grades and communicate with school staff about any questions or concerns you may have.
School counselors have been busy pushing into all classes to complete course registration for the 2023-2024 school year. They are meeting with students in 9th-11th grade to review their graduation pathway to make sure their registrations match their needs.
One of the hot topics in education right now is ChatGPT. A reminder that all of our teachers have extra help sessions after school once a week. If a student wishes to stay they must sign up with a teacher so that our transportation department knows that they will be riding the late bus home.
March, April, May and June will all be busy with state assessments, AP examinations, spring athletic events, fine arts performances and field trips and advisory meetings. The culmination will be graduation for the class of 2023.
