Taconic Hills Elementary School will be hosting a “Learning Fair” for any interested students in Kindergarten thru Sixth grade. A Learning Fair is a way for children to explore something they really want to learn about. It should be fun and interesting to the child. Children will think of a question that they would like to explore. Some example questions may be: “Why are flowers different colors?” “What makes a volcano erupt?” or “How are rainbows made?” Their curiosity should lead their thinking! Students may work by themselves or with others from their families. They may pick a topic from any academic area. Projects are not done during school, but resources will be available after school hours should students need additional support...
