Welcome back for the 2020-21 school year. Our mission is to provide varied and nutritious meals to the children and staff of our school district.
Menus will continue to be posted on our website towards the end of the month for the following month and a paper copy will be sent home with each student.
We have a website for student meal pre-payment at www.myschoolbucks.com. Signup is free and parents can set notification reminders when their child’s account balance reaches a minimum threshold and make payments automatically. Parents still have the option of sending in cash or checks. If you send in cash or a check, we ask that you place it in an envelope with your child’s name on the envelope. The best way to stay on top of your child’s account is to create an account on the myschoolbucks website.
There has been a lot of information in the news recently about “food shaming” for students with inadequate funds in their lunch accounts. We will take every measure to ensure that no student is exposed to distress as a result of not having adequate funds to pay for a meal. If parents are having any problems with making payments for school meals, they should contact the school as soon as possible.
Community Eligibility Provision
The CEP program will allow access to free nutritious meals for all students. Students receiving free breakfast/lunch through CEP will not need additional funds deposited to MySchoolBucks, however individual student accounts will continue to be maintained allowing parents/guardians to prepay for additional breakfast/lunch purchases such as à la carte items, milk, ice cream, extra snacks, a second meal, etc.
