The Taconic Hills Central School District would like to welcome Jerald Rowell, Jr as our new School Resource Deputy (SRD).
In 2007 Jerald graduated from Zone 14 Police Academy and went on to work for the Towns of Greenport and Stockport Police Departments as a road Patrol officer. In 2014 he was hired by the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office and began working the road Patrol division.
In thirteen years of law enforcement Jerald has attended extensive training and received several certifications. He is an operator with SSRT (Shared Services Response Team).
Outside of work Deputy Rowell enjoys being outdoors, staying active and working out when time allows. During the summer months you can find me out on the boat spending time with my family and friends. He also has a passion for classic boats and cars.
When you see him at school and in the community, please feel free to say hello and tell him a little about yourself. He is excited for the new school year and looks forward to getting to know everyone.
Please take an opportunity to welcome Deputy Rowell to our school!
