    Senior Citizens Exemption & Persons with Disabilities and Limited Incomes Exemption 

    Taconic Hills Central School District offers residents these tax exemptions ranging $27,000 at 50% with a $35,400 sliding scale option limit to 5% to be applied to the Assessment Roll.  Exemptions are based on income and are not automatic.

    The following scale is used for the district’s Senior Citizen Exemption (revised/adopted on March 5, 2008) and the Persons with Disabilities and Limited Incomes (adopted February 25, 2009) Exemption:

    Certain qualifications apply.  Applications must be filed with the town assessor's office and renewed yearly.
