Bye Bye Birdie

The Taconic Hills High School Drama Club is putting on Bye Bye Birdie! This fun-filled show, set in 1950’s small town America, is full of rebellious teenagers, young love, and rock & roll. Teen heartthrob and world-famous rockstar Conrad Birdie has been drafted into the army, so his manager, Albert Peterson, chooses Birdie superfan Kim MacAfee to be Conrad’s nationally televised farewell kiss. The show follows Albert and Kim as they navigate through parents, relationships, and a few spontaneous song-breaks.

Bye Bye Birdie features a plenty of high-energy dance numbers, a hilarious script, and hit songs that include “Put on a Happy Face,” “One Last Kiss,” and “Kids!” You can come see this rockin’ performance on Friday, March 29th at 7pm or Saturday, March 30th at 2pm or 7pm in the Taconic Hills Performing Arts Center.

Admission is $5.00.
