Here are a few tips to make sure that your school tax bills are processed efficiently:

    • Property owners are responsible to make sure that payments are received on time and in the correct amount. Partial payments cannot be accepted and will be returned.
    • If you do not receive your school tax bill by the second week of September, please contact the tax collector immediately to avoid possible penalties.
    • If you receive a tax bill and you feel that your bank, or escrow agency, should have received it, please contact your bank or agency immediately so they can process payment on time and avoid any penalties for late payment. If you have paid your mortgage in full and no longer have an escrow account, but have not received your school tax bill, please contact the tax collector immediately so that you can have a copy sent to you for timely payment.
