Introduction
building An important client is considering hiring you to design the house of their dreams.  They are confused as to what style they would like the home to be.  To ensure that you are hired, you offer to make a presentation on different styles of architecture so that you may learn which style they like the most.

Task
Using the links listed below and any other sources, you will create a PowerPoint presentation on a style of architecture.  The presentation MUST contain a title slide, at least 9 slides of content, and a bibliography.  Be sure to include information on the history of the style, timeframe of popularity, pictures of the buildings created in the style, famous architects who designed in that style, and any other interesting information.  Remember you are trying to  win a client over.

  1. Your manager will assign you an architectural style to research.
  2. Use the links below to research and/or use the library.
  3. Remember to write down the bibliographical information from each source that you use so you will be able to create a proper Bibliography.
  4. Using PowerPoint, create a slideshow containing your information.  The slideshow should me a minimum of 11 slides.  Make use of pictures to enhance your information.
  5. Remember that slides should not contain paragraphs of information, but succinct bullets that you will expand upon as you speak!
  6. Your presentation MUST include a definition of the style, relevant history, time period that the style was popular, famous buildings created in that style, famous architects who used that style, and any other interesting information.
  7. Check for spelling/grammar errors.  Make sure the "white" space is balanced.  Use good presentation techniques.
  8. Save your presentation to the X: drive under your grade level, Student Work, your teacher's folder.  Name the file by the architectural style_your last name.
